About Mercy Shibalabala
Mercy Shibalabala, known as ‘Mercy the soloist’ is a gospel artist born in Zambia and currently residing in South
Africa. She started singing at the age of 7yrs old and she committed to music ministry at the age of 12 years old and ever since, she has continued to use her gift to inspire, uplift hearts and draw people closer to God through song. Mercy has ministered at major events, including the 2025 General
Conference Session and the Big
Sabbath with Pastor Ted Wilson in South Africa—milestones
she considers among her greatest achievements.
She has also ministered in church programs and concerts across Arizona State USA, South Africa, Zambia and Namibia.
Ministry with purpose
Beyond her music ministry, Mercy is passionate about education and has a deep love for
children. She is currently working on a drive, called “Fill Up My School Bag” an initiative dedicated to supporting underprivileged schoolchildren by providing essential school supplies to enhance their learning experience.
Through her music and service, her desire is to continue lifting God through music, continue sharing her testimony of what God has done for her and instill hope in children, empowering them toward a brighter future.
